I’ve tried my hand at gardening over the years. What really fascinates me about gardening is just how many parallels are there for life and humanity. Have you ever stopped to think about that? Healthy soil, pruning, water, sunshine…and you get a happy plant. Humans make it a lot more complicated, but maybe it really should be that simple. “When Flowers Grow” reminds me to focus my attention on those foundational elements that foster happiness, and let the rest just happen when time allows.
